Understanding smile procedures
A smile can make a positive first impression, share joy, and convey warmth, trust and acceptance. But many people shy away from smiling freely because they’re not happy with how their teeth look. We’re here to help.
With the right smile procedure, we can enhance your natural features – and unlock the confidence in your smile.
What is a smile
procedure?
A smile procedure refers to cosmetic options that enhance the appearance of your teeth.
We call it a “smile” procedure because it usually involves teeth that are visible when you smile.
No two smile procedures are the same. There are different solutions for different people, and we’ll tailor yours to your specific needs and goals.
What can you
expect from a
smile procedure?
Cosmetic dentistry is a blend of science and art. And we believe the best results are achieved through collaboration.
We fully customise your smile journey to your exact needs. So you get a new smile that reflects your personality – and enhances your natural features.
From your first consultation to your complete smile transformation, we’ll work with you. Every step of the way.
Our smile
philosophy
At Sydney Smile Doctor, we do things a bit differently. We take a holistic approach.
Instead of jumping straight to the most expensive and invasive option, we take the time to understand your concerns. And work out what you really want to achieve with your smile.
For some patients, the answer to their problem is simply teeth whitening or clear aligners. They get the result they want - with their natural teeth.
We’ll do everything we can to help you retain your natural teeth. And, if appropriate, will always suggest conservative treatments first.
Sometimes, however, you may need a more extensive treatment. In such cases, we meticulously tailor our porcelain veneers and crowns to you.
Why you
should stay
away from
cheap fixes
Some cosmetic dentists, especially those offering budget treatments, reproduce the same set of teeth for every patient.
With the exact same shape, size and colour. As you can expect, this results in a smile that looks fake and out of place.
What’s worse, these budget treatments also tend to remove a large amount of natural tooth unnecessarily, not last long and be expensive to correct down the track.
